Delete your Rankly account

You can delete your account and all of its data yourself in the app in under a minute, or ask us to do it by email. Either way the deletion is complete and permanent.

In the app

Open Rankly and go to your profile, then Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Confirm. If you signed in with email you'll be asked for your password; with Apple or Google you'll re-confirm with that provider.

Your account is deleted immediately.

By email

If you can't open the app, email us from the address linked to your account and we will delete it within 7 days. Include the username or email you signed up with.

What gets deleted

Your profile: name, username, photo and bio.
Every list you made, with its items, covers and links.
Your follows and followers, likes, saves, comments and notifications.
Photos and images you uploaded.
Your sign-in account with Rankly. Signing in again creates a fresh, empty account.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing that identifies you. Anonymous, aggregated counts (for example how many lists exist in a category) are not tied to an account. If you connected Spotify, its tokens are revoked at deletion. Backups are purged within 30 days.
